New Features and Improvements

• Data Filtering: Users can now upload GeoJSON files and filter their contents using the new Filters panel. This feature enhances how datasets are explored and interacted with in the scene. Supported functionality:

  • Upload GeoJSON files with any set of properties

  • Click markers in the scene to access associated GeoJSON properties

  • Use the Filters panel from the main menu

  • Create filters based on any property across all uploaded datasets

  • Filter types adapt based on data:

    • Numeric properties display a numeric filter pane

    • Date properties (in ISO format) display a date filter pane

    • Other property types show a table of values

  • Table view includes a search box for large datasets

  • Filter views can be toggled between:

    • Table view

    • Bar chart

    • Pie chart

  • Selecting a filter value updates:

    • Marker visibility in the scene (if dataset is visible)

    • Value counts across all panels, reflecting applied filters

• Sub-folder Support for Improved Asset Organization: Users can now create sub-folders within existing folders to better organize their 3D models, scenes, and datasets. Sub-folders are added via the “Edit folders” option and appear nested under their parent folder.

  • 3D models placed in sub-folders are reflected in the same structure within Sandbox.

  • Sub-folders for datasets can be created, though they are not currently reflected in the Sandbox.

• Upload Progress Indicator: A loading spinner and “Uploading…” label are now shown on the upload button while a file is being uploaded. This provides clear feedback during longer uploads and is supported for datasets, scenes, and 3D models.

• Connection Status Message: A connection status message now appears while the Web App is connecting, offering clearer feedback during loading or temporary network interruptions.

Known Issues

• Intermittent Freezing in Web Viewer: The web viewer page may sometimes freeze. Refreshing the browser provides a temporary solution. A permanent fix is underway.

• Session Initiates After Rapid Cancel Click: If the Cancel button is clicked too quickly during session startup, the session may still initiate instead of stopping. The message “Session starting” will appear instead of “Session not started.” A fix is currently under investigation.
